Same park, different colors

This Sunday we did another great hike at Potato Creek State Park. Our group of 10 met at the nature center and covered the loop of trails 1 and 2.The fall colors are still out and if you haven’t had a chance to bathe yourself in them, you better hurry because it won’t last. And returning to town, we of course stopped at El Paraiso to wolf down all of the $1 tacos our stomachs could hold.

As I’ve mentioned before, Potato Creek is the closest state park to South Bend. That makes it an ideal destination to return to multiple times throughout the year to witness the changing seasons. It really is like going to a completely different place each time.
